I hosted an interactive session with residents of Vaddem, Socorro, Porvorim. Zilla Panchayat member from Penha De Franca Mr. Gupesh Naik, and government officials from different departments attended the session.
Lengthy discussions were held about the various development works in the area and about the success of certain schemes like construction of mud roads inside the fields for movement of farming equipment. As Vaddem has a lot of area under agriculture, this scheme has been very helpful. Such schemes would be implemented in more areas to benefit more Povorkars. Feedback and suggestions for better development were also received from the people.
I thank all the people for turning up in large numbers and for participating actively in the development of our constituency.
